Albert Embankment
London
The Albert Embankment runs along the east side of the Thames from Westminster Bridge to Vauxhall Bridge, and was completed in 1869 to help protect Lambeth from flooding and to provide a roadway to bypass congestion on local streets.

Underground (District/Circle/Jubilee): Westminster - Exit the station to the south of Victoria Embankment, by the river, then cross over the bridge. Walk down the steps and then under the bridge through the tunnel to the other side. +

Bus: Westminster Bus Map - Best stop is "Westminster Bridge Road", just to the east of the bridge. Then head to the embankment on the south side of the bridge. +

At the northern end of the embankment walk up the steps onto Westminster Bridge, and head across the bridge.

Millbank (Terror of the Zygons, Children of Earth: Day One). From the southern end of the Embankment, cross over Lambeth Bridge and then head south along Millbank to the front of Millbank Tower.

London Eye (Rose). At the northern end of the embankment walk through the tunnel to the far side, and then along to the London Eye.
