Clarendon Road, Borehamwood, Hertfordshire, WD6 1JF
Clarendon Road Studios was opened by the Neptune Film Company in 1914. It went through a number of owners (and used by the Government during WWII), until finally bought by Lew Grade in 1962. The BBC bought it in 1984, and it is probably best known as the location of Albert Square for the BBC soap Eastenders.
Feb 2008: the Eastenders set at Elstree is likley to be demolished when the programme transfers to being filmed in High Definition at Pinewood. See the Times article below for more details.

Rail: Elstree & Borehamwood - Turn right out of the station and walk east along Shenley Road until you come to Clarendon Road on the left-hand side. +

Road: A1 - Take the A1 to Elstree, exiting and heading west on the A5135. Once past the one way section and the following roundabout, Clarendon Road will be on the right-hand side. +
