Brighton Beach
Brighton, East Sussex

During the 19th Century, Victorian leisure transformed a small sleepy town into a bustling holiday destination. The West Pier opened in 1866 and the Palace Pier opened in 1899. Whilst the latter has survived into the 21st Century, the West Pier suffered a number of destructive events between 2002 and 2004 leaving little remaining.

How to get here:

»

Rail: Brighton Station - Exit the station and head south down Queen's Road; this then becomes West Street. When you reach the beach, cross over and turn left; filming was around the beach opposite the Queen's Hotel. +

Parking is tricky in town, there are car parks and meters!
