Underground (Northern)/Rail: London Bridge - Exit the station north and turn right onto Tooley Street (past the London Dungeon). Cross over and head to the Thames by City Hall, then continue along the Thames and under Tower Bridge into Shad Thames. Turn left through the "blue" archway and this leads to the wharf. +

Bus: City Hall Bus Map - Shad Thames is along the (dotted) Thames path to the east of Tower Hill. Once there, turn left through the "blue" archway and this leads to the wharf. +

The steps were demolished when the wharf was rebuilt during the late 1980s; the present walkway now covers the old "beach" it led to.
