Camden Town Deep Tube Shelters
Stanmore Place, Camden Town, London

Camden Town's shelter is one of eight deep level shelters constructed during WWII underneath underground stations and designed to shelter up to 8000 people during bombings. They were originally planned to eventually become a new express tube line, but this was never realised. Camden Town's is now used for archiving.
