Winspit Quarry
Worth Matravers, Dorset
Winspit Quarry was used to quarry stone before the Second World War, when it then became a naval/air defence site. The site is private, but the public is allowed to access the quarry and its caves at their own risk. The quarry is considered an excellent site for rock-climbing.
