Athelhampton House (Private Garden)
Athelhampton House, Athelhampton, Dorset, DT2 7LG
The Private Garden is a walled garden to the east of the house, with a level terrace leading onto a central lawn with a long fishpond. This area is not always open to the public if the houseowners are in reseidence, but is still visible through the three gates that lead to other parts of the gardens.
How to get here:

Walk: Enter the admissions centre, then walk to the front of the house, then through the archway to the east into the Corona, and then through the gate to the north. Note: the Private Garden is sometimes closed if the houseowners are in residence. +
