Canal Park
Canal Park
Butetown, Cardiff, Wales
Canal Park is built upon the route of the old Sea Lock Pond, a canal route from the late 18th Century that linked Cardiff's town centre to the Taff's estuary at the Bay. It fell into disuse up to Second World War, and after an accident destroyed the Sea Lock in 1952 it was closed down permanantly and filled in.
