Cardiff Bus Station

The Central bus station opened in 1954 opposite the train station on the site of an area once known as Temperance Town. It was the largest bus station in Wales until its closure in 2013.
The site was earmarked for the new headquarters of BBC Cymru Wales, which as of 2017 was being constructed. A new bus station was planned on the site of , but as of September 2017 building had yet to begin.
