Coalport China Museum
Coalport, Telford, Shropshire, TF8 7AW
Coalport China Works operated from 1796 to 1926, producing fine bone china and porcelain, and becoming famous for its craftmanship and decorative work. As the industry waned, the site became vacant and then used by various other businesses until it was finally acquired as one of the Ironbridge Gorge Museums and opened to the public in 1976.
Admission: £5.00. A passport ticket allows access to all Ironbridge museums, including Blist's Hill Victorian Town; it costs £14.00.
