Corus Strip Products UK makes hot-rolled, cold-rolled and metallic-coated strip steels and provides solutions in product design, processing technologies and management of the supply chain. The Llanwern works opened in 1962 as a fully-integrated iron and steel works, but now rolls and coats strip steel, with more than 1.5 million tonnes of steel a year.

2 Aug 2010: Sally Jones (CSP): "The Martha and Micky scenes from the final David Tennant episode were filmed on our site in Llanwern. They were filmed in and around our Hot Mill basement and also the Slabyards. Filming was possible because these areas were mothballed at the time due to the temporary closure of certain operations. They're now up and running again."
