Amsterdam
Dam Square is considered to be the central point of Amsterdam. It was created in the 13th Century when a dam was built around the Amstel river to prevent flooding from the sea.

Nieuwezijds Voorburgwal (Arc of Infinity). Walk between the church and the palace and then turn right onto Nieuwezijds Voorburgwal. Cross over and continue along to Bob's Youth Hostel, just before Mosterdpotsteeg.
