Additional Notes:

»

Usual problem with roads - which part of the road is it actually likely to be?!! The location chosen above follows the contours of the road seen on screen, and is also between Puckeridge Hill Road and Claycart Bottom, which ties into other filming for the story!

Where to walk to next?

»

Claycart Bridge (The Ambassadors of Death). The old Puckeridge Road is just south; follow this along to the bridge.

»

Eelmoor Training Circuit (The Ambassadors of Death). Eelmoor Road and Eelmoor Plain Road are on the MOD land that runs alongside Fleet Road; it can be accessed via the car park beside the MOD Test Unit a little further north along Fleet Road.

Other nearby locations:

»

Beacon Hill Road (The Ambassadors of Death). Road: from Fleet Road, head north before turning left onto Aldershot Road; then follow this until you reach the roundabout at Church Crookham and take the left exit onto Beacon Hill Road. The spot where Liz flags down a lift is just before Badger's Way. Parking: limited, along Badger's Way.

Additional locations as the crow flies:

»

Claycart Bottom (The Ambassadors of Death): 0.65 miles.

»

Beacon Hill (The Ambassadors of Death): 2.53 miles.

»

Sheephatch Farm (The Silurians): 5.09 miles.
