Fonmon Castle
Rhoose, Vale of Glamorgan, CF62 3ZN

Fonmon Castle was built in the 13th Century by the St. John family, then was sold to Colonel Philip Jones during the Civil War in 1656. It is still a family home to descendents of that family.

The castle gardens are open during the summer months, with parts of the house also available on tour.

Admission: 17 Sep 2009: open end of March until end of September on Tues/Weds, price £5.00
