Gladstone Pottery Museum
Uttoxeter Road, Longton, Stoke-on-Trent

Pottery works started on this site in the late 18th Century, and by Victorian times was a thriving business. The pottery factory was named after W.E. Gladstone, who laid the founding stone of the modern works in 1873. The factory eventually closed in 1960, and came into the hands of the Staffordshire Pottery Industry Preservation Trust, who opened it as a museum in 1974. The museum became council-owned in 1994.

Admission: £5.95.
