Formerly known as Le Marchant Barracks
The Le Marchant Barracks are named after Sir John Gaspard Le Marchant, commander of the 99th Regiment of Foot, and were completed in 1878. These were the regimental headquarters through to 1959, then became a museum. The site is now a housing estate.
