MOD Caerwent
Caerwent, Caldicott, Monmouthshire, NP26 5XL
Caerwent started life at the start of the Second World War as an explosives factory, built on the site of the village of Dinham. In 1967 it transferred to US adminstration and was used for weapons storage. The base today is back under the MOD and is used as a major training area for troops; some parts of the base are also used for car rallying.
