The Plaza of Nations was originally built as part of Vancouver's 1986 World Exposition, a 203 acre celebration of some 52 nations and territories. The building became private in 1990 and has since become a venue for entertainment such as festivals, fairs and concerts, and for business ventures, product launches, and so on. It is also a popular location for television and film productions.
The glass-framed Enterprise Hall at the Plaza was closed for special events on 3rd May 2004.
