Filming scheduled for the 8th November was disrupted by heavy rainfall, so a remount took place on the 16th November instead.
»
The area in front of the Riverside Arts Centre doubled up as the Thames embankment for scenes that couldn't be completed in London itself during /. Director Graeme Harper observed on the latter's commentary that the departure scene could only be shot in London in the river direction due to filming having to end at 7:00pm, hence the shots of the TARDIS were in Newport instead (with Newport's bus station appearing in the background!).
