Roath, Cardiff
The park was opened in 1894, transforming what was orginally marshland. The site is some 130 acres of parkland, featuring a lake and botanic gardens.

Rail: Heath High Level - Exit the station and head along Lake Road North, turning right into Beatty Avenue. Then turn right into Lake Road West and follow it along past the lake. The conservatory is in the southern part of the park. (1 mile, 16m) +

Bus: Cardiff Bus Map - Route 28 run to Lake Road West, and 29/29B to Lake Road East. Walk through the park to the conservatory to the south. +

Lady Mary Allotments (Partners in Crime, Turn Left). Head east out of the park onto Lake Road East, then head north to the lake. Lady Mary Road is on the right, and the allotments are just as the road bears right. (0.3 miles, 5m)

Windermere Avenue (Day of the Clown). Head west out of the park onto Lake Road West. Head north and Windermere Avenue will be on the left. (0.3 miles, 5m)

Florentia Street (The Idiot's Lantern). Head east out of Roath Park, and turn left onto Lake Road East. Cross under Eastern Avenue and bear right on Fairoak Road, then bear left onto Shirley Road. At the end, turn right into Monthermer Road, and Florentia Street will be on the left. (0.7 miles, 10m)
