Road: M4 - Exit the M4 at junction 12, then head west on the A4 through Theale. Turn right at the roundabout onto the A340, and then follow this to Tidmarsh. Tidmarsh Lane is on the left, opposite the pub. (4.4 miles, 7m) +

1 Dec 2009: There is a footpath up Manor Farm Lane that crosses the drive to the Manor; this leads to a field which you can walk parallel to the drive; however, the field ends before you can see the manor itself.
This location is private and has no or limited access only. The Manor is private and is cannot be seen from the public footpaths.
