Troy House
Monmouthshire

Troy House was built in the 17th Century, becoming home to the Marquess of Worcester, Charles Somerset. It was designed by architect Graham Frecknall, following the floor plans of Badminton House. In the early 20th Century it became a convent school, but the building gradually deteriotated and closed in 1980.

The building/site is currently under proposals to become a new residential compound, though whether the house would be demolised or not is still under conservation consideration.
