Formerly known as Western Quarry

Western Quarry was part of Lafarge Cement, but was closed and rebuilt as the Bluewater Shopping Centre, which opened in 1999.

How to get here:

Road: M25 - Exit the M25 at the junction with the A2, heading towards Canterbury (and M2); the Bluewater turnoff is not long afterwards (signposted). Parking: car park. +

Bus: Bluewater - Bluewater is on the east of the map, south of the Thames, and is served by the bus routes 96, 428 and 492. +

Rail: Greenhithe - From the station, walk along St. Clement's Way, which eventually reaches Bluewater; alternatively you can catch the 492 bus from the station. +

John's Hole Quarry (The Dalek Invasion of Earth). Road (2.8 miles, 8m) : Exit Bluewater, heading north on the A206; at the roundabout, turn left onto the A226 towards Dartford. The quarry is on the left-hand side, after Oak Road. Parking: unknown. Parking For the east side of the quarry, best place to park is in Oak Road, off London Road (A226) - the quarry runs alongside the park. For the south side, it is easiest to park in Kirby Road, near the allotment - there is a footpath by the allotment that leads to Clarendon Gardens, and from there walk to the end of the road and turn left onto the A296, the quarry being on the left-hand side.

Lafarge Cement (Northfleet) (The Ambassadors of Death). Road (3.1 miles, 8m) : Exit Bluewater, turning left. At the roundabout turn right onto the A226 towards Northfleet. Follow this until you reach Ebbsfleet International. Parking You can park at Ebbsfleet International's carpark. £1.00, for an hour.
