Stone House Farm (caves)

The farm address is in Dillywood Lane, but the caves are situated in a field across the road, off Lower Rochester Road.

How to get here:

Road: A2 - At the junction where the A2 becomes the M2, instead take the A289 and follow it until the B2000; turn left and the caves are on the right-hand side past some cottages. Parking: roadside near Stone House Farm, opposite. +

This location is private and has no or limited access only. The caves are situated in a private field, but are visible from Rochester Road.

Kingsnorth Industrial Estate (Inferno). Road (5.3 miles, 17m) : Head south along Lower Rochester Road to the A289, then turn left and follow it until its end at the roundabout with the A228. Turn left and head along the A228 past Hoo St Werburgh, and then turn right at the roundabout signposted Kingsnorth Industrial Estate / Power Station onto Ropers Lane. This bears left onto Stoke Road and then continue along past where Stoke Road turns left until you reach the Industrial Estate. Parking: roadside. Parking there is a layby alongside the fields north of the estate.

Lafarge Cement (Northfleet) (The Ambassadors of Death). Road (10.2 miles, 18m) : Head south along Lower Rochester Road to the A289, then turn right and follow it until it joins with the A2, and then head towards London. At the junction with the A2260, follow that road road north across a roundabout, and then right at the next. The road then goes through a tunnel under the railway and then to another roundabout. Go straight across this (Rosherville) and this passes through the cliff to Crete Hall Road. Turn left, and then follow this all the way as it eventually bears right and come to the The Shore by the Thames. The cement works is at the end of the road. Parking: roadside. Parking You can park at Ebbsfleet International's carpark. £1.00, for an hour.
