Road: A27 - Follow the A27 to Chichester, then head to the roundabout with the A285 (eastern side). Take the northernmost road (Chichester Bypass), and cross the next roundabout onto Magdwick Lane. Turn left into Claypit Lane and the roundabout, then continue onto Kennel Hill. This becomes Knights Hill, which leads into Charlton. Turn right and the pub is on the left. (5.6 miles, 12m) +

Park Lane (Revelation of the Daleks). Road (5.1 miles, 9m) : Head east out of the village on Charlton Road, then right onto Eastdean Hill at East Dean. Continue straight over the crossroads and then continue along, and there'll be an estate wall on the left. As the wall ends there is a turning to the left (opposide Goodwood House entrance) and then follow this to Halnaker. Park Lane will be on the left as you reach the end of the wall at the village. Park Lane becomes a private road, but is a public bridlepath; you can park at the southern end on the roadside by the houses.
