Burford Road
Brentford, London
(whereabouts of filming unconfirmed)
"On Location" refers to filming being either at Burford Road (film diary) or Clayponds Avenue (or Clayponds Lane in the film shot list) on 25th September; however the film shot list indicated it was shot on the 27th when filming was taking place in the Kingston area. Richard concludes that as Clayponds Avenue was unaltered in the film shot list this is the most likely place.
Looking at Burford Road, the houses here are all recently built, and in 1973 the houses in shot were derelict, it is possible that the corner with Clayponds Lane was the one used. However, without further records to clarify the status of those houses we'll probably never know for sure!
