The meadows achieved a measure of fame as being a place of comtemplation for Pink Floyd singer and guitarist Syd Barrett.
How to get here:

Road: M11 - Exit the M11 at junction 12 (Sandy), and then at the larger roundabout (towards Cambridge) take the road towards Grantchester. When you reach the end of the road, turn right and this leads to the High Street. Turn left at the green to the Red Lion pub and the meadows are at the end. +
