Road: A27 - Follow the A27 to Brighton, and then turn off where signposted Ditchling. On the northern side, follow Coldean Lane and then take first left into Ditchling Road. Follow this along until you reach the farm, which will be on the right-hand side. +

The road weaves its way down the hillside until you eventually reach a crossroads at its foot, where you turn left onto Underhill Lane. Follow the (narrow) lane through to Clayton. You can park on the road outside the church.

Turn left at the traffic lights into Wilson Avenue. There is a gravel layby next to the grassland near the racecourse and Warren Road.
