The Maltings
Snape, Suffolk

The Maltings is an area of marshland on the bank of the River Alde, near to the village of Snape. It takes its name from the malting business that was started by Newson Garrett in 1854.

How to get here:

Road: A12 - Following the A12 north from Colchester, turn right at Melton onto the A1152 and then continue on as this leads into the B1069. This eventually leads to the village of Snape; the Maltings are to the southeast of the village. +
