22 Sep 2004: Dave Edwards: my house is in the episode . I didn't know it was being used for outside shots until I got home from work one day and found it decorated with snow and ivy, the latter used to cover tv and telephone cables. It was great fun, the street was closed off to the public but because I lived there and got quite chummy with one of the production crew. I was there right amongst it while it was being filmed, I was stood behind the camera watching most of the time. I opened my door at one time and Chris Ecclestone was stood right outside it with Simon Callow! I said hello and shook his hand and later while watching from my upstairs lounge window Chris saw me looking and sent my way one of those cheesey wide grins that he does. The crew used "The Malt House" next door to me for the break, including Billie Piper who I met as well, also stood outside my house for a while was Eve Miles, filming the horse carriage shots.

22 Sep 2004: The sign on the wall looks old, but was in fact stencilled by the production team for ! The name "J. Hillman" actually refers to the incumbant house resident, and was left there after filming completed. (src :Dave Edwards)
