Victoria Park

Victoria Park was created in 1897/98 by Cardiff City Council to celebrate Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee, and retains many of its original features like the model boating and paddling pool, though the bandstand is a replacement erected in 1998 to mark the park's centenary.

2 Dec 2008: The playground seen in and is currently being redeveloped.

Bus: Cardiff Bus Map - Routes 60/62, 17/18, 12, 96 go to Victoria Park. +

Road: A48 - Follow the A48 in Cardiff to the junction with Cowbridge Road East (A4161). Turning into the road, follow it until it bears left, off the main A4161 (Landsdowne Road). The park is on the left. +

24 Nov 2005: It was planned for a scene in where the group come across a deactivated Cyberman who has regained her memories on the way to the factory, but bad weather meant the scene was abandonned (and was eventually filmed as part of the Doctor and Mrs Moor's infiltration of the Factory later in the episode).
