The Hayes, Cardiff, Wales
Hayes Island is a small square to the north end of the Hayes, known primarily for the snack bar that sits near the centre (which opened in 1911 as a parcel office).
How to get here:

Rail: Cardiff Central Station - Exit the station (north side) and turn right, walking past the car park and the Great Western pub to St. Mary's Street. Cross over and head up Mill Lane, and at the end turn left into the Hayes. +

Bus: Cardiff Bus Map - There are no direct buses to the Hayes, but many stop along St. Mary's Street; heading along Wharton Street (by Howell's) will lead into the Hayes. +
