The sewage works serves the Marlow/High Wycombe area, and has recently undergone redevelopment to take advantage of new treatment strategies.

The old entrance to the treatment works have now been demolished during the redevelopment of the site; about the only thing remaining that is recognisable is one of the old gate posts!
