Rousham Gardens were designed by William Kent, and laid out during the 18th Century for Rousham House (built in 1635 by Sir Robert Dorner). Features in the gardens include the "Lion Attacks Horse" seen in , a Grade II listed sculpture made by Peter Scheemakers in 1740.
