Whatley Quarry
Whatley, Frome, Somerset, BA11 3LF

Whatley has been called a "super quarry", being one of the largest quarries in the UK. It was an ARC quarry, and now owned by Hansons, and its primary produce is limestone.

This location is private and has no or limited access only. The quarry is still operational, but there are tours of it during August arranged by the East Mendip Study Centre.
