Royal Albert Hall

The Royal Albert Hall rose out of the success of the Great Exhibition of 1851, after which Prince Albert decided to build a cultural, scientific and academic centre (which the Imperial College and the musuems form part). Designed by Henry Cole, the building took place from 8th April 1867 and formally opened by Queen Victoria on 29th March 1871.

Underground (District/Circle/Piccadilly): South Kensington - Exit the station by the Natural History/Science Museums and head north along Exhibition Road, and then turn left into Prince Consort Road. Head up the steps to the Hall - filming took place on the east side of the building. +
