Trent Park, Middlesex
Trent Park House was first built by Royal Physician Richard Jebb, who was awarded the estate in 1777 by King George III. Subsequent owners expanded the house further until the time of Sir Philip Sassoon, the last major owner during the first half of the 20th Century. The house was then used as an interogation centre during the Second World War, and then became an education centre, until of Middlesex Polyechnic in 1974. It is a Grade II listed building.
29 Apr 2014: In 2013 the site of the former Middlesex University, which includes the mansion house, was sold to Malaysia’s Allianze University College of Medical Sciences. Access to the site is currently prohibited, and it isn't clear if this will change in the future.

Walk: Trenk Park car park - From the car park, head along the main driveway until you reach it's end, passing by the obelisk and following the road clockwise to the front of the main house; then walk around the house the to balcony at the back. +

Trent Park: Obelisk (Mawdryn Undead). Walk down to the lakeside and then follow it clockwise until you reach the main path. Head right along this path, and then head across the field north to the passageway leading up to the obelisk.

The characters are seen running back and forwards across the field between the obelisk and the mansion, whereas in reality there is a big lake spanning the bottom of the hill (unseen on screen).
