Twyford Wood
Kesteven Forest, near Colsterworth, Lincolnshire
The woods were planted on what used to be a WWII airfield, which still retains a derelict control tower and wide runways.
Filming took place around the small roads to the north-east of the main runways, within the forest not far from the car park.

Road: A1 - Take the A1 to Colsterworth, then at the roundabout head east onto the A151. The woods car park is signposted on the right. +
